I take a slightly different approach than many other interior designers because I take on short-term design projects or simple consultations. I want to help DIYers create something they love and avoid mistakes. I help homeowners better communicate their ideas to contractors or step in for a short time to help you make key decisions about your space that have a huge impact on your life. I also have extensive knowledge of remodeling kitchens and baths to accommodate specific needs.

Mini Design Services
Color Consultations
Color creates environments that stimulate, relax, or refresh. It can help with sleep, creativity, and healing. A color consultation with me will help create the best environment for your needs, whether it's a calming bedroom for better sleep or a vibrant office to boost productivity. A full-color consultation includes an in-person consultation, an image of your space with the new paint colors, paint sampling, product recommendations, and a record of your paint choices.
Lighting Design
Proper lighting affects our ability to use a space well and can impact our health. I will design a lighting plan that is functional, supports healthy living, and is easy to control. My lighting designs aim to enhance comfort and well-being, making every room in your home a pleasure to use.
Space Planning
I will arrange a space to fit the specific uses of that room and the unique needs of its occupants. Effective space planning ensures that every corner of your home is utilized efficiently and comfortably.
Material Selections
The materials that go into your home are crucial for function, safety, and comfort. I will select beautiful combinations of flooring, wall finishes, fabrics, and other surfaces that improve safety and comfort while keeping easy maintenance in mind. My material selections are designed to create a harmonious and practical environment.
Safety Updates
This service offers a comprehensive look at how a space is used and what products or functional changes need to be made to improve safety. For instance, handrail placement, safer cooking methods, or safe storage of knives. My safety updates ensure that your home is a secure and comfortable place for all family members.
Functional Assessments
This service evaluates how well a space functions for its intended use. For example, I design intuitive work and study areas that enhance productivity by minimizing distractions and keeping essential tools organized and easily accessible. My functional assessments ensure that your spaces are optimized for efficiency and comfort.
Design Packages
One-Room Revamp: A room revamp is the service you want if you need to refresh a single room. I will reselect materials and finishes, create a new lighting plan and rearrange furnishings. Upon the completion of the room revamp design you will have plans, an image of what the new room will look like and a list of products to order.

Package Exclusions: This package is for rooms where no structural changes are required.​
Design Coaching: This package is ideal for DIYers updating a space, especially if you need a second opinion or assistance laying out the space or purchasing product. I provide basic layouts for the design that can be used to show a contractor and communicate your ideas. Once your design decisions are finalized, I hand the project over to you or your contractor to manage. Many of my Design Coaching clients are working on a kitchen or bath and working on a tight budget or planning to do more work themselves.
Package Exclusions: Product selection and construction management are excluded from this package making it ideal for homeowners who have a vision for the final look and plan to do the work themselves or hire a contractor. E-Design is not available if any structural changes will be made.
Package Alternatives: Purchasing services with access to wholesale vendors and designer product can be added at any time. This package can also be simplified or expanded by adding more rooms.
Full-Service Kitchen and Bath Design Package: This service is ideal if you do not have the time or inclination to design the space and want more hands-on assistance. I provide full construction documents and 3-D views of the space to help visualize the completed project. I select all product and purchase any product that a contractor is not providing. I will assist in finding general contractors and subcontractors as needed.

Package Exclusions: Construction management is excluded from this package, however, I will continue to communicate with you during construction. E-Design is not available for this service.

Package Alternatives: This package can also be simplified or expanded by adding additional rooms.
Adaptive Design Package: This service includes Kitchen and bath design or extensive renovations to other rooms for aging in place or specific physical needs. It is ideal for homeowners who need multiple adaptions for a family member to use a space safely. I provide the same level of service at the Full-service design package and utilize specialized knowledge of design techniques and products to meet your unique needs. The focus of the Adaptive Design Package is developing a design for the future so that staying safely in your home as long as possible is a reality.
Package Exclusions: Construction management is excluded from this package, however, I will continue to communicate with you during construction. E-Design is not available for this service.
Package Alternatives: This package can also be expanded by adding additional rooms. Due to the nature of adaptive design, simplifications of this package are not available.
